Clinics with Mike Christiansen

Mike Christiansen has presented workshops and clinics throughout the United States and Canada. He has been a guest lecturer at many schools, at MENC conventions, and for many school districts. His presentations are invaluable to the player, private instructor, and classroom teacher. Topics include: “Sequenced Teaching,” “Layered Teaching,” “Repertoire Selection,” “Teaching Improvisation,” “Classroom Management,” “Setting Up a Studio,” “Ensemble Literature and Rehearsal,” “Performance Preparation,” and “How to Get From One Level to the Next.” Detailed outlines are available upon request.

Both the new and the experienced teacher and player will benefit tremendously from attending one of Mike’s workshops. Presentations can be one-half day, one day, three days, or one week in length. Beginning-level and intermediate-level workshops are available.
